So it’s December.
The time of year where it’s stupidly cold, people are stupidly cheery and I stupidly spend money.
I jest, I jest. I love December really.
So where have I been since May?
Well first I lost my job back in June. That wasn’t fun. Losing £14,500 a year salary never is. I spent most of my time playing games, walking the dog and looking for a job to no avail. I’d spend days sat on the sofa watching TV or playing games on either console or PC and I started to feel more and more useless without a job.
The last of our ratties passed on. We assume Deirdre died in her sleep as she was in her bed when she was found. To our knowledge, she was not ill and seemed happy and playful and cheerful in the preceding days.
We buried her in the garden and marked her grave.
Gemma and I went on lovely walks around Lyme Park and Chatsworth Park with the dog.
I felt so unfit and unhealthy while walking because I was constantly out of breath and tired. It was nice to see the dog having fun, spotting local wildlife, exploring the wooded areas and finding old ruins within.
We also had a nice walk up Tegg’s Nose.

The most important thing of all to happen is that we have moved house again. This time back to our home town of Macclesfield in Cheshire.
We now live in a modest two bed terraced house as opposed to a massive four bed detached property and I am happier here, Gemma seems happier here and the pets seem happier too.
We are here for the next twelve months so lets hope everyone stays happy.
Oh, I forgot to mention, I also got a job within a week of moving back to Macclesfield. I guess Manchester just didn’t like me.
